Made with Barilla® Classic Rotini pasta
Ingredients
Serves 8
| 1 | Box Barilla® Rotini | 
| 3 | Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil | 
| 1 | Cup arugula | 
| 1 | Clove garlic | 
| 1 | Tablespoon pine nuts | 
| 1 | Tablespoon Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese - grated | 
| 6 | Leaves fresh basil | 
| To taste | Salt and black pepper | 
| 1 | Pound medium size shrimp | 
| 2 | Cups green beans cut 1/2 inch |

Method
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a blender PROCESS pine nuts, garlic, and cheese.
Step 3
Add arugula and basil; blend well.
Step 4
Drizzle in 2 tablespoons olive oil with a few ice cubes and process until creamy.
Step 5
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Step 6
Meanwhile, add beans to the boiling water with the pasta.
Step 7
In a skillet, heat remaining olive oil, and sear shrimp on both sides.
Step 8
DRAIN pasta, making sure to reserve 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water.
Step 9
Add drained pasta, beans and 1/2 cup cooking water to the skillet with the shrimp.
Step 10
REMOVE from the heat and fold in the pesto.
