| 1 | Box Barilla® Collezione Tagliatelle | 
| 2 | Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil | 
| ½ | Cup onion, chopped | 
| ¼ | Cup celery, chopped | 
| ¼ | Cup carrots, chopped | 
| ½ | Cup bacon, diced | 
| ½ | Pound ground beef | 
| ½ | Pound ground pork | 
| 3 | Tablespoons tomato paste | 
| ½ | Cup white wine | 
| 2 | Cups water | 
| 2 | Tablespoons butter, melted | 
| ½ | Cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated | 
| To taste | Salt and black pepper to taste |

Method
Step 1
In a large skillet sauté carrots, celery, onion and bacon in olive oil for 5-6 minutes.
Step 2
Add all the meat then brown well for approximately 8 minutes until cooked through.
Step 3
Add tomato paste and cook for 1 minute, then deglaze with wine.
Step 4
Add water and bring to a simmer; cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
Step 5
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions.
Step 6
Drain and toss pasta with the sauce. Remove from the heat. Fold in cheese and butter then serve!
