Ingredients

| 1 | Box Barilla® Protein+® Stars pasta |
| 2 | Cups heavy cream |
| 1 ½ | Cups white cheddar cheese, grated |
| 1 | Cup broccoli florets (optional) |
| ⅓ | Cup Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated |
| To Taste: | Salt & White Pepper |

Method
Chef Tip:
Heavy cream must be used in this recipe as it has more structure than regular milk.
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-low heat bring heavy cream to a boil. Whisk in 1 ½ cups of cheddar cheese and 1/3 cup of parmesan cheese with ½ teaspoon of salt and ¼ teaspoon of white pepper. Allow mixture to reduce and thicken. Test sauce and adjust seasoning to taste.
Step 3
Steam broccoli to desired tenderness.
Step 4
Drain pasta well and mix with cheese sauce & broccoli.
