How Chefs Make Lasagna Fasta

Barilla Canada Executive Chef Gabriel Pavan shares his top air fryer tips for making the perfect lasagna - fast, flavourful and foolproof!

Use the Right Dish

"Choose a small, oven-safe dish that fits comfortably inside your air fryer basket. Make sure air can circulate freely around your lasagna for even cooking. Aluminum foil trays or silicone pans also work perfectly."

Pre-Cook & Preheat

"Preheat your air fryer to 350–370°F for even results and a perfectly crisp top. If you're adding protein like ground meat or shrimp, pre-cook it before layering. "

Layer Like a Pro

"Start with the sauce on the bottom to prevent sticking and ensure an even cook. Use a generous amount of heated sauce evenly between layers for perfect results."

Perfect the Temperature & Time

"Cook at 400° F for 15 minutes. Cover with foil for the first 10 minutes, then uncover for the final 5 minutes to get that golden, bubbling top."

Let it Rest

"Once cooked, let your lasagna rest for 5-10 minutes. This helps it set, so every slice stays layered and beautiful."

Reheat the Right Way

"Reheat leftovers at 300°F for 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit, covered with foil to keep it tender and cheesy."
